It has come to the attention of the Neighbourhood Team at Wells Police Station, that in Westbury-Sub Mendip, some people have been potentially driving with no Tax, MOT, insurance and a valid driving licence.

We will be patrolling the area to identify these people who are responsible and deal with them appropriately.

If you wish to report any suspicious activity around the driving of vehicles then please report on 101.

Vehicles have been seen stopping outside of farm buildings across the Mendips, they appear to be scoping out the properties and checking where the CCTV is located.

People have also been seen in the yards of the farm buildings with balaclavas on.

We will carry out patrols within the rural communities.
