Wincanton Rural Neighbourhood Team have seen an increase in reports around hunting, hare coursing and poaching. We aim to establish better communications with our rural communities to address these issues and to encourage reporting.

We have been consistently patrolling our rural locations and working with our border colleagues in Dorset to provide a consistent visible approach and dealing quickly with any reports made.

We have received reports of motorbikes/motocross bikes being targeted and stolen across our rural area.

Please be vigilant when returning from a motocross/motorbike event of anyone one/vehicle acting suspicious and please don't hesitate to report any concerns.
