Current Priorities
Issue
We welcome feedback from the public and want you to engage with us. We want you to let us know about the issues you have in your area, how we can support your community and what you would like us to do in your area on a regular basis; that could be a 'Talk to Us' surgery were you can come along and speak to us about policing issues or to get crime prevention advice and find out who we are and what we do or we can run policing Masterclasses where we can deliver an event to educate communities about Drugs, ASB, Fraud, Child Sexual Exploitation, Modern Day Slavery etc. and provide signposting to support agencies.
We would also like to see an increase in Community SpeedWatch and Neighbourhood Watch schemes where communities take ownership for issues in there area, play a pivotal role in helping to tackle issues and get regular support from the police.
If you have any information about criminality or issues in your area, are interested in forming or becoming involved with Neighbourhood Watch or SpeedWatch or just want to speak to us, please make contact with us using the contact form at the bottom of this webpage.
Issue
We have been receiving reports of the illegal use of these vehicles in Pill, especially on Watch House Hill and the main road through the village and in Long Aston, around the community Centre and football pitch.

Action
Officers have been attending the locations, conducting hi-visibility patrols and dealing positively with any offences found in the area.
We have issued a section 59 notice to a motorcycle rider in Pill who was using the vehicle inappropriately.
We continue to patrol on a regular basis but rely on the public to report any issues and would encourage residents to report online and by ringing 101 or 999 in an emergency.
In Pill you can visit the Resource Centre in Baltic Square and use one the the computers there, where staff will be happy to assist you if you struggle using technology.

Current Locations:Let us know what locations you have concerns about at: https://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/report/streetsafe Please note: StreetSafe is not for reporting crimes or emergencies. If you witness a crime or emergency, please call the police on 101 or report a crime online. If you’re unsure whether something is a crime or not, read our advice.
Examples of situations that should be reported to StreetSafe include a poorly lit alleyway that makes you feel unsafe or a park with broken equipment that poses a safety hazard.
