One of the most frequent complaints we get from members of the Public, is the speed of vehicles in our towns & villages.

If this affects you, perhaps you would like to consider giving up some time as a Community SpeedWatch Volunteer?

You can dedicate as much or as little time to this as you wish. You could be part of a team monitoring the speed of vehicles in any given area. You will receive all the necessary equipment & training, with support from Police. Intelligence led policing to tackle illegal vehicles on the road such as no tax, insurance and licence.

The local neighbourhood officers worked alongside the A&S Roads Policing unit and the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing teams for high visibility patrols and tackling the Fatal 5 on Exmoor

Due to a rise in Non-Dwelling Burglaries in Kilve, the neighbourhood policing team along with the response units have been patrolling the rural areas at night for re-assurance and add a highly visible presence to the area.

Due to further burglaries around Roadwater and Exmoor, further re-assurance patrols have been in place, If you have any unsecure high value items in your outbuildings we advise that you take note of the serial numbers and review your security.
