Pub Watch is when the police and local licensees meet to discuss incidents that occurred within their establishments. After these have been discussed, we collectively decide on what positive action can be taken in order to prevent this from happening again.

The main purpose of these meetings are to ensure you, as members of the Wellington community, are safe and can enjoy your much-deserved down time in the pubs and licensed premises.

A number of pubs confiscated fake IDs from youths. These IDs have been handed to police, who will be visiting all concerned.

Ongoing work with residents and licensing after reports of ASB outside Rockwell Green Memorial Club

Wellington Park is having issues with damage to its infrastructure and flowerbeds. Groups of youths have been identified pulling up flowers and riding across the beds on bikes.

This is happening on the afternoon, evening and at night when the park is closed with youths climbing over the fence to get into the park.

Officers have increased patrols of the park to identify which youths are involved.

Increased patrols as summer holidays begin. Officers will engage with all park users and challenge any ASB/crime with the appropriate sanctions
