We have been receiving a large amount of calls regarding Anti-Social Behaviour on Church Road, in particular there has been an issue with street drinking. We have been conducting joint patrols along with the Streetwise Team to see if help can be offered. Positive action is being taken by issuing warnings and notices to street drinkers with conditions. Patrols will continue.

To date, a further 2 Community Protection Notices have been handed to known street drinkers who cause Anti-Social Behaviour on a regular basis.
Patrols are still on-going and persons will be breached if seen breaking their conditions.

We are aware of increased shop thefts in stores along Church Road and have been working with staff to target prolific offenders.

On Monday 22nd January St George NPT conducted a ‘Day of Action’ targeting prolific shop lifters in and around Church Road.
2 arrests and 18 charges were made.
