Current Priorities
Issue
There has been an increase in reports of drug dealing and ASB - Stanley Lane rear of Easton Leisure centre and next to Easton Primary school.
Neighbourhood officers have increased patrols in the area and arranged with the local council to have the tress cut back.
We are still receiving reports and Neighbourhood officers have increased their patrols assisted by colleagues from other departments.
Action
NPT have patrolled the area, they have had colleagues from other departments.
The mounted section have also paid attention to the location.
Neighbourhood officers are working with the council/partner agencies to help improve the lane.
Issue
Over the past few months we have experienced high levels 0f anti-social behaviour around the area of Newton St, junction to Stapleton road, these issues have included high volumes of drug use/ dealing.
If you see anything you feel is of concern please report to us using our online reporting system or call us on 101 in non emergency or 999 in an emergency.
Action
Officers have increased patrols to the area, Working with local businesses and residents.
We have been holding local community meetings to address the issues the next one is on 5th June, details are on our events page.
Issue
Over the past few years the Easton neighbourhood team have experienced high levels of anti social parking on Stapleton Road, this has included double parking prevent the free flow of traffic and parking on white zig zags causing an obstruction to the zebra crossing's which increases the risk for members of public trying to cross the road.
The neighbourhood team have been working closely with the council's traffic enforcement officers by issuing tickets to those committing the above offences.
Please be mindful when parking on Stapleton Road. If you see anyone committing the above offences be report to us via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
Action
Neighbourhood officers completed a joint working operation with parking services and issued 49 parking tickets.
We will continue to have working days with the council to improve the parking on Stapleton Road.
