Current Priorities
Issue
Lock doors, windows, the boot and sunroof every time you leave your car, even for short periods.
- Don't leave bags, coats or change on display. The cost of replacing a broken window is often far more than the value of goods stolen. If you can, take your things with you. If you can't, lock everything out of sight in the boot.
- Never leave driving documents or personal letters inside your car. They could help a thief to sell your car or provide a cover story if stopped by the police.
- Don't leave satnavs on display when you're not in your car.
- Never set your address in your satnav for your start or return journeys, use an area near to your home you know - If your keys are stolen a criminal may use your satnav setting to direct them to your home.
- Keep valuables out of sight while you re driving and consider keeping the doors locked.
- Take the ignition key out even when the car is parked in your drive or garage and always set the immobiliser. If you don't have an immobiliser, consider having one fitted
- Always keep your car keys in a safe place at home, away from windows and doors and preferably in a locked cupboard or cabinet.
- Leaving your glovebox open when you're not with the car will show there is nothing of value in it.
- Register all valuable items, such as mobile phones and satnavs at www.immobillse.com
Issue
We have been receiving frequent reports concerning persons riding motorcycles in anti social manner and in many cases illegally. Whether this be through riding on pavements and bridleways or in some instances riding an illegal or stolen motorcycle. The team are actively gathering intel concerning this criminality and ask that any sightings of motorcycles being driven in an anti social or illegal way be called in, to help us pinpoint locations, dates and times in order to identify those responsible and take action against them.
We are actively patrolling the local areas with the focus of gathering intel which is contributing greatly and would appreciate any reports of this activity from the public - even if made online to us - we rely on information such as date, time and place with as much detail and description of the offenders as possible.

Issue
During the winter months, with the darker afternoons and evenings, an increase in burglaries is something that we have known to increase as crime.
- Lock your doors and windows before going out.
- Invest in a light timer and use it when you are out.
- Report any suspicious activity in the area to the police.
- Invest in a burglary alarm and CCTV camera's for added security.
- Flood lights are good to deter potential burglars.
- Keep keys locked away somewhere secure at night.

Issue
If you have any information relating to drugs from the dealing to the supply or suspicious activity, doesn’t matter how insignificant you may think it is, it just may be the missing link. Please report it to us on 101 or through our website or anonymously via CrimeStoppers.
It does take time to build a picture and helps us to secure that Warrant and disrupt the drugs chain.
