The neighbourhood policing team will be visiting coffee mornings, and other community events in order to improve engagement with the public.  We will start a regular Talk to Us event at the Co-op in Downend to make the team more accessible.

We are working closely with shop staff in Downend and Cheswick Village to identify regular shop-lifters. We also offer advice and high visibility patrols to reduce incidents of shop-lifting in their stores.

Neighbourhood officers continue to provide high visibility patrols to support schools during drop off and pick up times. We aim educate and encourage those to park safely and considerately. Should officers encounter any road traffic offences these will be addressed accordingly.
