Current Priorities
Issue
Reports are ongoing concerning student associated ASB both on and off-campus.
Action
Officers from the UWE have continued to visit students engaging in anti-social behaviour in the community across Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
In the academic year September 2023 – August 2024 they conducted 91 visits to students.
Since September 2024 to December 2024 they conducted a further 41 visits.
They continue to work with the UWE, council, Bristol Waste, ASB teams and other relevant organisations to effectively deal with any reports.
Issue
There has been an increase in the number of bicycles taken from the University Frenchay Campus this academic year.
There have been 17 bicycle thefts in the first term (Sept - Dec 2024) from on Campus.
We would like to take this opportunity to remind all students and staff to always use a SOLD SECURE rated "D" lock to secure your bicycle.
Officers at the UWE offer free bicycle security marking several times a year across all four campuses.
