Action
Speed checks were carried out on Cambridge Road, Ely
A Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) is being progressed in relation to car meets in East Cambridgeshire, including Ely.
Parking tickets have been issued across the district
A young person riding an e-scooter dangerously in Ely has had it seized twice.
A Community Protection Notice has been issued to a man in Ely. He now has an exclusion zone and conditions to stop his behaviour.
A prolific shoplifter and beggar has been sentenced
We’ve engaged with young people causing ASB and their parents. One boy has been issued an ABC (acceptable behaviour contract)
A graffiti tagger has been given a 12-month community order and is on a tag for six months
Foot patrols across the city centre.

Action
Speed checks were carried out on Dullingham Road and Townsend in Soham
A Community Protection Warning was issued to a resident in Soham

Drug offences focused on Littleport and Ely

- Stop searches have been carried out
- Homes belonging to vulnerable drug users who are at risk of being exploited have been visited
- Investigations are ongoing relating to crimes of possession with intent to supply class A drugs

- Tackling drug misuse in Littleport – including targeted patrols, drug warrants, education and stop searches.
- Anti-social driving in Sutton and Soham – focusing on speeding and anti-social use of vehicles.

Join us at a quarterly online meeting where you will hear direct from the officers policing your area about recent activity, we’ll listen to your concerns, present the results of the survey and allow you to shape future activity.
The meetings start at 7pm and normally last around one hour.
