Local officers engage with security staff to discuss local issues. Due to a closure of SMITHY LANE vehicles have been parking obstructing access for Ambulances.

This is an ongoing issue with cars parking along Smithy Lane on double yellow lines and within 10 metres of junctions. Regular attendance from officers/ PCSO to advise or issue parking tickets, as well as collaborative work with local parking authorities. Local PCSOs have attended Leighton for engagement with the local residence to obtain there views with the local parking issues and where the repeat demand is caused in the area.
