Drug dealing/activity in and around the town centre.

There has been an increased presence in the town centre via daily foot patrols by the beat officers and SGT to disrupt drug activity and increase the confidence of the public that action is being taken. Multiple Stop Searches of individuals have been successful and those in possession of drugs have been charged for these offences. Warrants executed in other areas of Congleton have had an impact on the availability of drugs within the Town Centre.
