Local officers have identified shoplifting to be a repeat demand on the area.

Officers have been working closely with local stores to identify areas of weakness and preventative measures that can be put in place to help reduce shoplifting. The efforts of working together have led to a number of local and out of area shoplifters being identified and successfully dealt with accordingly. Officers are continuing to conduct high visibility patrols and working with stores to deter and detect shoplifters.
