- Wilmslow Beat Management are very dedicated to catching shoplifters working together with the businesses and getting to know the repeat offenders.
While off-duty, PCSO Gamble spotted a male acting suspiciously on Water Lane. After following him for a short while, she identified him as being wanted for several shopliftings from local businesses and directed PC Ambage to secure his arrest. The male was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison, suspended for 12 months and order to pay £154 in compensation after being charged for six thefts.
- After a long investigation, five people have been arrested and charged with burglary carried out in local and national area, between Nov 2024 and March 2025. They will all appear in court on Friday 1st August 2025.
