Speeding

Action

In recent months, residents have continued to express concerns about speeding on Hatton Lane and Warrington Road as well as an increase in RTCs.
In the last 3 months, we have conducted speed enforcement across both sites a total of 13 times capturing lots of excess speeds in the process. We have also worked in partnership with the local council and highways to get the Park Lane junction re-signed and white lines refreshed.
Moving into the summer months, we will be looking to be more visible across the area by patrolling on pedal cycle, we will also be exploring opportunities for our Police Surgeries across all 3 areas so that you can meet your local officer to discuss your local priorities. We will also be looking to hold some bike marking events which we will be advertised via our social media page and Cheshire Alert.
