We have received increased complaints from both walkers and horse riders using the Wirral Way of an increase in anti-social behaviour.

Intelligence gathered showed the main issue being groups of youths riding at high speed on electric bikes with little regard for others who then intimidate those who challenge their behaviour. - They are typically found to be wearing black hoodies/balaclavas carrying rucksacks and believed to be drug dealing possibly because they often smell of cannabis.
An arrest has been made concerning a robbery which took place and we continue to conduct patrols, both in uniform and plain clothes as part of an ongoing operation covering the Wirral Way from Hooton to Neston in regard to this and other reported incidents.
