Dedicated ward officers have been exploring crime prevention alternatives to reduce phone and bag theft within the City of London including bag hooks and phone marking events.

Retail crime

Retail crime has seen a 20.8% decrease in February 2025 in comparison to February 2024 with dedicated ward officers now taking ownership of a larger proportion of the investigations into Retail Crime.

Dedicated ward officers for the Fenchurch Street cluster have been liaising with residents to better understand how anti-social behaviour impacts them.
