Reports of speeding in and around Abbeytown

Priority first adopted in April 2025. Priority reviewed and to remain for further enforcement action.

•High visibility patrols of the area
•Use of mobile speed gun to conduct speed enforcement.
•School talks to educate teenagers on road safety and the dangers of speeding

Reports from members of the public detail ASB and suspected drug activity in the Water Street car park area.

The local NPT officers patrol the area as a priority and will proactivity deal with any individuals involved in ASB and criminality.

Drug Dealing in Silloth

This priority was first adoped in June 2025. Following review it continues to be a priority for the area.

- Proactive patrolling including use of drones to identify and trace suspected drug dealing activity. This resulted in two drivers being stopped and arrested for drug driving offences.
- two individuals located and arrested for drug supply offences and a quantity of drugs and cash seized - Offences remain under investigation
