Anti Social Behaviour has been highlighted in the most recent PACT survey from August 2025 as the communities most pressing concern.

We will be undertaking visible patrolling in locations highlighted- such as the main park off Central Drive- we have already worked in conjunction with the local council to facilitate the repair of lighting within the park- in preparation for the darker nights. We have patrol plans in place over the October and November period to increase visibility in these areas as recent years have shown an increase in ASB on Walney during Halloween and Bonfire night and the period leading up towards it. Additionally the CBO PC Herron has been linking in with local businesses on Mill Lane regarding reports of ASB and kids climbing on roof's. A clean of the area has now taken place.
