Road Safety in Ormsgill, Hawcoat and Parkside priority for residents following the most recent PACT survey.

PCSO Jones has continued to engage with residents and identified locations for our Speed Awareness Device to be placed at hotspot areas where these concerns are most prevalent, while she continues to educate her Mini Police children at Ormsgill and St Pius Schools on the key points of road safety. On the 28th February 2025 PCSO Jones has undertaken speed laser work with children at St Pius and Ormsgill primary schools- giving education inputs on road safety and engagement with local motorists.
We also have plans for targeted speed-gun work with Community Beat Officer, PC Lydia Howard.
