This Safer Neighbourhood area covers Bolsover Town. It belongs to the North East Local Policing Unit.
 
Bolsover is a small market town with a strong mining and historical heritage. It is located within Bolsover District Council and is approximately 6 miles from Chesterfield town centre. Bolsover has many attractions from the 17th century including the castle and buildings which now make shops and businesses in the town centre. There are also long walks which show the history of the castle and the strong mining heritage that Bolsover possesses.

Action

1.High visibility and plain clothed patrols in the area (police and council rangers), working with partners such as Bolsover District Council in order to tackle the ASB in and around Bolsover. Continuing Op Shango patrols in the Bolsover area. PSPO is in effect in the Bolsover Town centre and surrounding area's. Continued engagement with Primary and Secondary schools regarding the impact on ASB
2.High visibility patrols and plain clothed patrols in the area. Vehicle PSPO is currently in effect that includes the Bolsover area.
3.Late night/early morning high visibility and plain clothed/vehicle patrols in the Bolsover area.
