Hadfield is a mainly residential neighbourhood located within the High Peak Borough Council area, approximately three miles from Glossop Town Centre and 15 miles from Manchester City Centre. Station Road is considered the centre of Hadfield. Only about a mile away from Station Road is the village of Tintwistle which is much smaller than Hadfield.
Our Safer Neighbourhood office at 1-3 Mersey Bank Road, Hadfield, is open for residents to drop in when any members of the team are on duty.

Increased Patrols Our officers are out in force during the evenings and into the early hours, using both marked and unmarked vehicles to deter and detect crime. Working Across Borders We’re teaming up with neighbouring police forces to share intelligence and track down offenders more effectively. Crime Prevention Events Join us at one of our local events where we’ll share practical tips on how to secure your home and vehicle. ???? Targeting Offenders We’re focusing on known offenders and using every tool available to prevent further crimes. ???? Home Safety Visits Want advice on keeping your property secure? We’re happy to visit your home, check things over, and offer practical tips. Keeping Our Roads Safe – Together ???? Keeping Our Roads Safe – Together ???? Speed Checks Ongoing We’re actively monitoring speeds on local roads and will continue to do so. Drivers breaking the law may receive tickets or Section 59 warnings. Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour Together More Patrols: We’re increasing police presence in areas where ASB is a problem. ????? Working with Schools: We’re teaming up with local schools to identify and support young people who need guidance. ???? Using CCTV: We’ll use CCTV and work with partners to protect victims and gather evidence. ?????????????? Supporting Families: Our Youth Engagement Team works closely with families and professionals to help young people make better choices
