We have been experiencing on-going issues with anti-social behaviour in the town centre area. We have increased our patrols of these areas and several young people have been identified. To-date, several youths have been visited at home and have been issued with Anti-social behaviour letters which advises parents/carers of their children’s behaviour and the repercussions of their actions. We will continue to target the areas, engage with the youths and take the relevant action We receive numerous reports regarding inconsiderate parking in the area especially around the local schools. We will be working alongside Parking Enforcement, local authority, and the schools to educate road users and parents regarding their behaviour. We will also be visiting the schools to engage with the children with regard to road safety the schools to educate road users and parents regarding their behaviour. With ongoing reports of shoplifting in the local area we are continuing to target offenders and support shop staff and shoppers alike. We will be holding community events in some of our busiest town centre shops to engage with shop staff and shoppers and gather intelligence with regard to prolific offenders. We will also be carrying out high-visibility patrols.
