Action
There have been a few reports of ASB in Gamesley over the last few months mainly regarding children on the roof of a closed pub and a couple reports of off-road bikes. Due to the issue mainly being around kids on the roof we will conduct ASB hotspot patrols around this area. We will also be working with the community and partner agencies to help identify the offenders We have had reports of offenders breaking into properties via snapping door locks. Due to this we will do a safety and security advice event regarding door locks. The locks we will recommend are the 3* Euro Anti-snap Locks which can be purchased online. During this event we will also show people how to change their door locks themselves and ensure they order the correct size for their door. By doing this we will educate people in the community and hopefully deter offenders. Dangerous driving and speeding are an ongoing issue in Gamesley, whether that be drink drivers, people driving erratically, vehicles with no MOT or people speeding. To tackle this issue, we will be conducting speed watch and high visibility patrols to deter dangerous driving and speeding.
