It belongs to the High Peak Local Policing Unit. This neighbourhood encompasses the hamlet of Rowarth, together with Little Hayfield and Birchvale. It is a large residential area located on the border with Cheshire, two miles from Glossop and approximately eight miles from the centre of Stockport.

Action
1 When engaging with the local community we have received reports of ASB around the Town Centre and High Street, your SNT have been conducting High Visibility targeted patrols around these areas at the reported times, we have also been completing surveys with residents in and around the areas that have reported ASB. We have been doing targeted patrols around areas of reported use of off-road motorbikes being driven in an anti-social manner. 2.Speeding has also been highlighted as an issue and Community speed watches are being conducted in the areas that have reported excess speeding. We are also seeking more volunteers to help with Community Speed watch, specifically for New Mills. Please get in touch for further information or to register an interest. There has also been an issue with dangerous parking around Schools in all our areas and we will be working with School/parents to educate about putting Children's safety first when coming out of school. 3.We are increasing our patrols both overt and covert We are offering Crime reduction advice should you require it and property marking events will be advertised. We encourage the use of Neighborough Watch and registering to be a member.
