Parking Anti-Social Driving Theft
Action
Concerns have been raised recently about the parking in and around all our local schools and in certain residential areas. We as a team are looking at educating motorists and will patrolling in the areas at the relevant times. We would encourage anyone who is wanting to report illegal parking to the councils Civil Parking Enforcement Team who are responsible for most parking offences like double yellow lines. You can do this by calling Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190 or emailing [email protected] We are aware of your concerns in relation to vehicles driving anti socially through Whaley Bridge. We will be conducting extra patrols, setting up speed check sites and proactively tackling nuisance vehicles/drivers. We ask you continue to report these issues via 101 or Derbyshire Police website. Theft remains a high priority especially due to the effects it has on its victims and its community. We would ask the community to be extra vigilant and to report any suspicious activity at the time the incident occurs on either 999 or 101. Extra patrols have been conducted, and property and bike marking has taken place.
