Ban on BBQ's Theft/Burglary Speeding

Spreading the message including to ring fire service and challenging anyone with fires and BBQ's , we have supported High Peak Borough Council in applying for a Public Spaces Protection Order which gives the Council powers to prosecute individuals who may have open Fires Or BBQs . If You see a Fire in the open please call 999 as soon as possible so the Fire service can risk assess each incident hopefully reducing damage to our beautiful grasslands. We are helping reduce retail thefts occurring in the area, We are collaborating closely with businesses to reduce the number of thefts. We will increase patrols in the areas and pay visit to our retailers to offer reassurance and support we will also offer Crime reduction advice if required if you as a homeowner would like crime reduction advice please contact your local team. Speeding is a big concern in all parts of the local area, but certain locations have been highlighted by residents where we have started to do enforcement with the assistance from the forces Road Safety Team (CREST). Residents have already set up Community Speedwatch schemes which are running well and would encourage anyone who is interested in setting up a scheme in their area to email the Speedwatch Team.
