Anti social Behaviour Speeding Vehicles and Parking Drug Supply and use

Action

This continues to be an issue for Fairfield around certain “hotspot” locations. Due to partnership working there has been an ARMADILLO situated in front of St Nic's hall. This is a mobile security system and has been placed there due to continued anti-social behaviour in this area. We have been working with High peak borough council about graffiti on our parks. Youth groups are continuing their work with the young people on Thursdays & Friday evenings, and local officers are engaging with schools to educate our young people on what constitutes ASB, consequences and impact on community. Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement for a big engagement event that's happening soon. Vehicles speeding on Fairfield and inconsiderate parking are starting to become an issue. Officers will be monitoring this issue with regular patrols. We have been in touch with Derbyshire County Council about signage from Victoria Park Road onto the “new estate” as this was highlighted to us as being a location of concern. Unfortunately, we did not meet the criteria for new signs. Please report issues to Derbyshire county council and the Police . Work with “clear, hold, build” continues. Our Project Unity office is the location for partnership meetings as well as being open to the public for you to be able to air your issues and concerns.
