Action

Reported ASB on Fairfield – Nuisance motorbikes, damage & graffiti and issues within the Alleyways on the estate. We are working with local landowners to address the issue with nuisance bikes as well as conducting regular patrols. Monitoring ASB locations with regular patrols and CCTV cameras. Working with “Boots on the Ground” youth provision for diversionary activities. Working with local council to ensure regular clean ups in alleyways. Assistance also given by the “MINI POLICE” from Fairfield endowed school who completed a clean-up in the alleyways. There is a problem management plan in place looking at solutions with partner agencies. Concerns raised about the speed of vehicles travelling around the estate. Speed watch and regular monitoring in hotspot areas. If anyone in the community is interested in setting up a community speed watch group, drop in at the office and let us know. Although, this continues to be a priority, we have seen a decrease in the number of reported incidents from our local retailers. We continue to work with them to identify offenders and add criminal behaviour orders to manage persistent offenders.
