This Safer Neighbourhood area includes the Holmebrook and Rother council ward. It is covered by the Chesterfield South Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team and belongs to the Chesterfield Local Policing Unit.

The area is situated to the immediate south of Chesterfield town centre. The main A61 arterial road bisects the area, but provides a focal point for the neighbourhood. New developments incorporate the Alma Leisure centre and the Horns Bridge roundabout.

Issue

1.Drug related ASB in the Grangewood area.
2.Nuisance Motorbikes/Surron Bikes
3. Drug related ASB and Vagrancy in the Chatsworth road area.

Action

1.The Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to develop and act on intelligence provided to us in relation to County Lines Drug related issues in the Grangewood area. We will utilise Plain clothed patrol operations to identify dealers, carrying out stop searches wherever proportionate to do so and we will build intelligence which allows us to carry out drugs warrants in the local area. 2.We have had continued calls relating to nuisance Motorcycles in the Grangewod/Boythorpe area. To combat this we will patrol areas that are mostly impacted and utilise our colleagues in the Rural Crime Team and Off Road Motorcycle team to target those responsible and enforce robustly. 3.The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be carrying out daily patrols of the Chatsworth Road area and taking positive action against Street Drinkers, Drug Users and Vagrancy.
