Current Priorities
Issue
1. Op Pindell- Theft of tools from motor vehicles
2. Anti social behaviour on Littleover Parade
3. Anti social behaviour on Sunnydale Park
Action
1: With a rise in theft of tools or other items from motor vehicles, in particular building vans, we have an engagement plan aimed at visiting builders merchants, hotels where contractors are staying and pop up engagement stands to offer crime prevention advice and tools to minimise the risk of this offence. Colleagues within the Local Policing Unit are aware and patrol overnight.
2: Increased high visibility foot patrols on the Littleover parade of shops. Closer communications with affected businesses and residents about the Anti social behaviour they are experiencing. Regular engagements in store.
3: Increased high visibility foot patrols by the safer neighbourhood team for reassurance and to detect ASB and crime. Engagement events for crime prevention and advice. Intelligence building and intervention work with offenders.
