72% of respondents raise this as a concern.  ‘Clear Hold Build’ continues to be delivered in Bournemouth Town Centre under the guise – Bournemouth Together –to tackle serious and organised crime.  Bournemouth Together aims to reclaim and rebuild neighbourhoods affected by organised crime, makes areas safer and increases public confidence in the police and partner agencies.  We will continue to develop intelligence to hit those causing most harm.  We utilise a range of tactics to deal with such offending including plain and high visibility patrols – just because you don’t see us, doesn’t mean we aren’t there.  Please help us to address this issue by reporting drug dealing Here. Begging, Homelessness & ASB

57% of respondents raised Begging and Homelessness as a priority, and 56% raised antisocial behaviour.
 
Begging & Homelessness remains a concern and is often reported by businesses, car parks and residents.  We are working with housing providers, BCP council and charities to reduce the issue.  To target issues in blocks, we need your help – please make sure you report this, providing as much information about perpetrators so we can identify individuals.  As a Town Team, we continue to work with the BCP ASB team, utilising civil and criminal orders to tackle these issues.  The government has provided additional funding to continue the well versed hot spot policing.  This involves identifying hot spots of ASB, and conducting high visibility patrols.  Begging and Homelessness is a BCP led issue, supported by the Town Team so any concerns also need to be reported to our CSAS colleagues or via the BCP website - Let us know about someone sleeping rough | BCP (bcpcouncil.gov.uk)
