1. Anti Social Behaviour - Consett Town and Delves
Action
June: School engagement to prevent ASB conducted.
Several community events attended to prevent to raise awareness.
Early intervention with families of known persons has been provided
Issue
Anti-social use of vehicles (predominantly unregistered off-road bikes) is a major concern for the community. Frequently uninsured and unroadworthy, the illegal use of such vehicles creates a risk of harm to the public and to the rider.
Action
June: x6 Off-road vehicles have been seized following direct intervention by NPT
Supported by Housing Agencies and Landlords, Community Protection Warning Notices are in the process of being issued to addresses where unregistered off-road motorbikes are known to be operated from.
Issue
Retail Crime is a not only a local problem but nationally
Action
June: One male charged and remanded and a Community Behaviour Order has been applied for.
Male and female coming thefts together were located residing in a wooded area and arrested for multiple offences
High visibility patrols in all effected stores conducted
