Issue

Concerns have been reported in relation to alleged drug related ASB in the vicinity of Garth Meadow, Knighton. Behaviour reported includes, use of offensive and threatening language and behaviour, late night visitors, anti-social driving and late night parties. This behaviour is causing residents in the area fear, distress and alarm.

Issue

Drug fuelled ASB in the vicinity is causing fear and disturbance to other residents with frequent reports of late night visitors, unpleasant smells, violence and use of offensive language.

Concerns have been raised in relation to alleged drug related ASB in the vicinity of Castle Road, Presteigne including frequent late night visitors, both on foot and in vehicles, use of offensive language and threatening behaviour causing fear, alarm and distress to those living in the vicinity.

During joint patrols of the area with PCC Housing Officers and Knighton Town Council, the area was raised as experiencing increased levels of alleged drug related ASB in the form of frequent drug fuelled arguments, threats of violence, frequent visitors coming and going and incidents of criminal damage resulting in feelings of nervousness and apprehension by other residents in that area as well as the wider community.

Concerns have been raised by Knighton residents to Knighton town councillors of ASB related concerns in the vicinity of the Offa's Dyke Recreational area which includes the skate park, seating area and new shelter recently installed by PCC in the basin area. ASB includes; litter, broken glass and graffiti.

Community Concerns have been raised in relation to drug activity and associated ASB in the vicinity of Wylcwm Street and Station Road, Knighton.

Issue

Concerns have been raised by a number of parents in the Knighton area in relation to youths engaging in heated altercations whilst in attendance at the local town parks which has recently escalated with injuries and criminal damage being reported. High visibility patrols and youth engagement to be conducted in order to prevent further incidents and injury.
