Tackling road safety issues and poor traffic flow in the village caused by coaches parking in unsuitable locations

Efforts are being stepped up to link with the local community to identify the bus operators responsible and engage with them about more suitable pick-up, drop-off and parking locations. This will be followed by robust enforcement for those who continue to disobey instructions and cause unnecessary safety and congestion issues. Inspector working with local town council and elected officials to support the new proposed parking plan going forward to resolve the coach parking situation in the village.
Day of action carried out on 28th August with Neighbourhood Policing Team and cadets to highlight these issues.

Targeting acquisitive crime in the North Cotswolds including dwelling burglaries and vehicle crime.

Local officers conducting crime prevention and reassurance visits. Supervisors ensuring all lines of inquiry are followed.
