A Community Speed watch scheme has been set up and agreed by the local authority and will be going live over Summer 2025. Adverts to take part in this will be on the GMP website in the near future.

Overnight theft from motor vehicle offences.

There have been a number of reports of thefts from vehicles left insecure overnight that have been targeted by opportunistic offenders. The team are looking to follow up any lines of enquiry into these crimes. The public are remind to check that vehicles are left secured overnight with no valuables on display.
