This is controlled by a board of 12 local residents and 8 representatives of relevant agencies (Police, Primary Health Care, City Council, Chamber of Commerce etc.) and is now known as Plus You Limited which had almost £50 Million pounds to invest in the area over a 10 year period that came to end in 2010.
As part of the redevelopment the construction for the new Eastpoint Centre in Burgoyne Road, in Thornhill began in 2010. The centre was completed earlier this year in 2011. A hub for businesses and communities in the city It will boast the latest business conference facilities in a three-storey 3,770 sq m development. There will also be training space for businesses and meeting rooms for community groups, a social club and a restaurant area.

We will continue to identify and increase visible patrols in areas that have been raised as ASB concerns. We will work with statutory partners to problem solve and address the issues.

We will work closely with businesses and communities to identify crime trends and series and then tackle and problem solve in partnership.

Keeping town centres safe
Action
We will increase visibility and police action to tackle crime and disorder in identified town centres across the summer months.
