The area covers Paulsgrove and Port Solent. Paulsgrove is a residential area of social housing which is located outside the north of the city and sits between Cosham in the East and Portchester in the West sitting on the slopes of Portsdown Hill. To the south is the busy A27 a main artery that connects Portsmouth to Fareham, with a number of industrial estates, supermarkets and drive-through restaurants.

Allaway Avenue is the longest road in Paulsgrove. It runs from east to west and connects Paulsgrove to Southampton Road in the East and to the outskirts of Portchester in the West. It is a busy main road that provides access to residential areas within Paulsgrove consisting of social housing, multi occupancy and single occupancy dwellings which are punctuated by a number of schools and open spaces with park areas. At the centre of Allaway Avenue is a sizeable parade of shops with a number of bus stops either side. The main issue for Allaway Avenue is that of Rowdy and Inconsiderate Behaviour.
