Tackling anti-social behaviour hot spots

We will continue to identify and increase visible patrols in areas that have been raised as ASB concerns. We will work with statutory partners to problem solve and address the issues.
In St Thomas we are currently running Op Nautical. This Op has been set up to tackle ASB and crime along the seafront during the summer months.

Tackling urban crime – in particular shoplifting

We will work closely with businesses and communities to identify crime trends and series and then tackle and problem solve in partnership. In St Thomas we are currently running a shoplifting Operation called Op Nerve. We work closely with stores throughout St Thomas but predominately in Gunwharf Quays. You will often see us patrolling to prevent and detect crime.

Keeping town centres safe

We will increase visibility and police action to tackle crime and disorder in identified town centres across the summer months.
