Uplift in visitors to the sea front

We are running Op Nautical which enables high visibility patrols along the sea front. We also review crime trends to predict where the issues are. We have seen a spike in the area of South Parade Pier and addressed key offenders.

Tackling anti-social behaviour hot spots

We will continue to identify and increase visible patrols in areas that have been raised as ASB concerns. We will work with statutory partners to problem solve and address the issues.

Tackling urban crime – in particular shoplifting

We will work closely with businesses and communities to identify crime trends and series and then tackle and problem solve in partnership.

Keeping town centres safe

We will increase visibility and police action to tackle crime and disorder in identified town centres across the summer months.
