Anti-social behaviour, including e-scooters, in Mosquito Way, Cavendish Way, Lemsford Road and the Hilltop

Action

5 February: To date, 15 people have been spoken to about the use of e-scooters and given a leaflet explaining the law around them.
We have also disrupted groups of teenagers committing anti-social behaviour and in the town centre and the Galleria.

27 February: At least three Acceptable Behaviour Agreements have been issued to youths who have been causing issues in the Galleria. Advice has also been given to people cycling in the town centre which goes against the Public Space Protection Order which is in place. Beggars have also been moved on from outside Asda. We also have a Community Involvement Day organised on the 14th March around the Hilltop. The fire service and council been invited along too.

Drugs and associated anti-social behaviour in Wellfield Road, Roe Green Lane, Crawford Road and Birchwood Avenue

5 February: A number of intel has been inputted in relation to possible drug dealing across the West.

27 February: Work remains underway to tackle this priority.

High visibility foot patrols

Action

5 February: Increased foot patrols have taken place across the West -specifically the town centre, Birchwood Avenue, the Hilltop and all the surrounding roads.

We've also spoken to and removed beggars, street drinkers and cyclists outside Asda and in the town centre, as per the PSPO (Public Space Prevention Order) that is in place there.

Four warning tickets have been given out for inconsiderate parking on Woods Avenue.
