Traffic offences are a key issue for rural areas in NL, whether this be speeding, weight restriction compliance, drink/drug driving, seatbelts or dangerous/careless driving.

Speed awareness is regularly carried out within all areas of the ward.

Hi-Viz patrols are carried out within the ward area, actively looking for travelling criminality, while supporting Rural Task Force (RTF).

Intelligence led vehicle stops completed, resulted in several vehicles being stopped and the drivers dealt with for numerous traffic offences.

Multi Agency vehicle stop days are carried out on an ad hoc basis, ensuring compliance with road worthiness and correct documentation.

Drug intelligence and disruption in the ward areas.

Raised through NAT meetings and concerns from members of the public, through the relevant key individual network.

Brigg NPT support the Night-Time Economy (NTE) in Brigg on Friday and Saturday nights. The aim is to disrupt crime, ASB, and drug use in the local Public Houses. Gaining intelligence relating to drug supply, acting on the intelligence appropriately.

NPT officers are aware of a core group of individuals in the Brigg area, who are active in using and distributing drugs. We are working alongside Patrol Officers and partners to build an intelligence picture.

People access the Ancholme River and local ponds/lakes, putting themselves in danger.

There is currently a Public Spaces Protection Order stating;
No entry into open water, for the purposes of diving, jumping, paddling or swimming, by any person within North Lincolnshire area. Other than as part of a recognised open water swimming club, where permission of the landowner has been obtained.

Officers form the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Rural Task Force patrol the Ancholme River and open water areas, during warm weather.
Ensuring compliance with the NLC PSPO, educating individuals and groups around the dangers of swimming in open water and providing water safety advice.
