King George Playing Fields - update

Following reports of general anti-social Behaviour on the field upsetting residents nearby as well as dog walkers and persons using the recreational field we have stepped up a higher police presence within the area at peak times for community reassurance. We will look to stop and deal with any motorcycles and seize dealing with offences were possible, along with submitting any intelligence re potential offenders.

Drugs - update

We saw a noticeable increase in the reporting of drugs offences throughout June and July and this enabled us to build intelligence around certain areas allowing us to take positive action. Throughout the coming months patrols will continue to show high visibility around Travis Road and Ramsden Place area of Cottingham where known dealers are operating and assist in positive action which is planned. Once executed to show presence in the area again.

Shop-theft ongoing

There has been a noticeable spike in the last two months in Shop theft from 13th April – May to 29th June to July. This includes prolific offenders some of whom were arrested and released by the courts. Throughout the coming months patrols will continue to show high visibility presence in the key areas as well as engaging with stores and providing reassurance.
