There have been 5 residential burglaries and 3 shed burglaries since February, with no burglaries in the past 3 weeks for Hessle. There were at least 3 successful arrests made, two of the suspects were responsible for numerous Hanoi burglaries whereby property is broken into and car keys stolen along with victim’s vehicle.

Throughout the coming weeks we will utilize regular high visibility patrols in hotspot areas to deter would be criminals.

The shops around Hessle Square have reported a noted increase in thefts over the last few months.

Throughout the coming months there will be an increased visibility of patrols and store visits around the Hessle Square area at various points during the day to act as a deterrent as well as intelligence gathering. We will also set up a shop watch scheme for stores to share information with each other and ourselves to assist identification of repeat offenders.
