Anti-Social Behaviour/ shop theft on Retail and Leisure Park

Kingswood:

• Tiered list produced with Hull City Council.
• Regular engagement with shops, primarily ASDA security, Wendy’s and Hollywood Bowl.
• DOCO report created, recommendations sent out – remains a priority.
• Meeting was held on 25/03/2024 with several retailers from Kingwood retail park. PC NIMMO, PCSO NEWTON and Adele HINCH (ASB Officer)- From this meeting stores have been advised of reporting means for crimes/ ASB issues.
• It has been agreed that these meetings will now be held quarterly with the next one planned for June.
• An input was given by PC NIMMO on statement writing and reporting of shop thefts.
• Meeting held with shops in relation to issues on the retail park.
• Further meeting with stores TBA for June.
• Day of action is in the process of being arranged for plain clothes to target shoplifters.
• Wendy’s remains the main area for ASB, PC NIMMO has been in multiple times regarding this, she is working with them to plan ways they can reduce these incidents.

Village Green

• PC NIMMO has completed a POP Lite for the area and has been liaising with the COOP who are the main caller. As there was no response to the emailed DOCO a hard copy has been printed and delivered. A request for a new point of contact due to the manager moving on.
There has still been no contact despite going in multiple times.
• A DOCO has been completed and shared with the stakeholders.
• Work has been completed and is ongoing with Revive church and youth club is up and running.
• Meeting held with Central Land holdings (who own village green) CCTV Cameras are in place and can be accessed by them. Enquiries are ongoing with the cameras being gifted to Civic.
