Shop Theft on St Peters Avenue

The Croft Baker team have looked at the data which shows an increase in shop thefts down St Peters Avenue at the heart of Cleethorpes.

You may notice an increase in police present on the Avenue in the coming days. Our aims are to:

- Increase high visibility patrols
-Deal with the main offenders causing the issues
-Working with and supporting local businesses
-Disruption of offenders.

Road Safety Issues

We have been conducting surveys with the local community and finding out from you what you feel the issues are in the area you live in. It was clear there was many residents who feel speeding, ASB driving and parking was a issue. The main target areas are going to be:

- Thrunscoe Road
- Trinity Road
-Alexandra Road
-Central Promenade
-St Peters Avenue

What you will see from officers in the coming weeks:

- Use of the Pro Laser, catching speeding and issuing fines and tickets
-Working in partnership with the council on poor parking, ticketing double yellow parking/leaving cars in an unsafe and anti-social manner
-Patrolling the main streets where the problems have been communicated and at the high risk times
-Issuing section 59's for anti-social driving
