Antisocial behaviour.

We will be increasing high-visibility patrols in the area, particularly focusing on alleyways and back roads that are commonly used as routes through the neighbourhood. Officers will engage with individuals known to be involved in, or to facilitate, antisocial behaviour (ASB) near their properties. The aim is to deter visible ASB and reduce its impact on the community. During these interactions, we will also assess for any underlying vulnerabilities that may be contributing to the behaviour. Where appropriate, we will work with partner agencies to provide support and interventions to help reduce offending in the long term.

Homelessness/begging.

We are working in partnership with the Rough Sleepers Initiative, local council, social services, and the NHS to support individuals experiencing homelessness and those involved in street begging. Where appropriate, and when support options have been exhausted or refused, we will move to enforcement measures. This may include issuing Community Protection Warnings (CPWs), Community Protection Notices (CPNs), or making arrests where necessary.

Road Safety and/or E-scooters and nuisance motorcycles.

We are working jointly with other departments within Kent Police and the Special Constabulary to address issues involving nuisance vehicles and e-scooters. Dedicated days of action are being held to seize e-scooters, issue warnings where appropriate, and deal with traffic offences. These operations also focus on educating users about current legislation. In addition, we are working with local councils to address parking concerns and utilise CCTV to help identify offenders. Further days of action are planned for July and August, specifically targeting e-scooters, e-bikes, and antisocial driving.
