Antisocial behaviour.

Increased visible patrols have been introduced in the area to provide a stronger police presence and deter antisocial behaviour (ASB). In addition, a dedicated ASB response vehicle has been deployed to attend calls specifically related to ASB incidents. This targeted approach ensures quicker response times, enhances community reassurance, and supports more effective management of ASB.

E-scooters and/or nuisance bikes.

We have increased visible patrols in the area, supported by a rise in days of action specifically targeting e-scooters and nuisance bikes. These operations involve joint working with the Special Constabulary, the Road Safety Unit, and the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) to address illegal or unsafe use and improve public safety.

Drug taking.

We are actively conducting visits to individuals known for drug use and are taking steps to disrupt those involved in drug-related activity when encountered on the streets. Police officers are being deployed in both uniform and plain clothes to monitor and respond to suspicious behaviour. Robust action is taken wherever drug-related offences are suspected, ensuring a proactive and visible approach to tackling drug misuse and its impact on the community.
