Visible patrols in the area have increased, along with a rise in days of action. These efforts include close collaboration with the Special Constabulary, the Road Safety Unit, and the Roads Policing Unit (RPU).

Antisocial behaviour.

Increased visible patrols have been introduced in the area to provide a stronger police presence and deter antisocial behaviour (ASB). In addition, a dedicated ASB response vehicle has been deployed to attend calls specifically related to ASB incidents. This targeted approach ensures quicker response times, enhances community reassurance, and supports more effective management of ASB.

Road safety.

We are conducting dedicated days of action focused on the 'Fatal Four' offences—speeding, drink and drug driving, mobile phone use, and not wearing seatbelts. These operations target known hotspots for speeding and are carried out in partnership with the Road Safety Unit and the Roads Policing Unit (RPU).
