Antisocial behaviour.

Increased visible patrols have been introduced in the area to provide a stronger police presence and deter antisocial behaviour (ASB). In addition, a dedicated ASB response vehicle has been deployed to attend calls specifically related to ASB incidents. This targeted approach ensures quicker response times, enhances community reassurance, and supports more effective management of ASB.

E-scooters.

We have increased visible patrols in the area, supported by a rise in days of action focused on e-scooter-related issues. This includes working alongside the Special Constabulary, the Road Safety Unit, and the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) to address misuse and ensure public safety.

Drug dealing.

We are carrying out targeted visits to individuals known for drug use and actively disrupting suspected drug-related activity on the streets. Officers are deployed in both uniform and plain clothes, taking a robust approach to any suspicious behaviour and taking positive action where drug offences are identified.
